5 Steps to a Conversation

What we do at the end of the day is very easy, all we do is have conversations with individuals and have fun while doing it. Shoppers coming into the store want to interact with someone who is friendly and inviting.

Talking to individuals is only part of it, it's very crucial you incorporate body language.

Step 1 - Greeting

Our greeting must be professional, we can not use any silly ice breakers to spark up a conversation with members. You'll want to start off with positive open inviting body language by waving by your face. Our Greeting should always start with one of the following:

  • "Good morning/afternoon/evening"

    • "Costco's running a special today. Who's you phone carrier?"

    • "Costco's helping members with their wireless service today. Who's your phone carrier?"
